Rexburg Snowy Owl

It was a near blizzard all day and we thought the chances of seeing anything
white in a white-out were pretty slim. Arnold and Aaron Smith had stopped to
look at a flock of Gray Partridge when Arnold's wife spotted the owl. Jack
Clark and Pomera Fronce called us on a cell phone. Bob Huntington and I were
watching a juvenile Northern Goshawk trying to figure out how to get a Gray
Partridge out of a bush when we got the call. Lucky for us the owl flew to an
irrigation pipe and stayed there.
