Salem Swan / TrumpeterID

Last night Lisa found a page with photos of a juvenile Tundra that looks
like the Salem bird, with a flat bill. It's at
http://www.muskoka.com/~sinclair/archives/tundraim.html. Also there's a
page on Joe Morlan's web site detailing differences between Tundra and
Trumpeter Swans that's probably the most comprehensive I've seen. It
says that juv Tundra can have flat or even convex bill shape. Slightly
convex is the shape the Salem bird has to my eye.
