Scarlet Tanager, Vermilion Flycatcher?

I received this e-mail about a possible Scarlet Tanager and Vermilion Flycatcher in Zion Ntl Park. Thought someone could check it out.

hi.  i was at zion natl park and saw a couple red
birds.  i was wondering if you know which red birds
are there.

i saw 2.  it was evening and the first looked like a
vermillion flycatcher, then a 2nd larger one came and
looked like a tanager.  i'm wondering if this is
correct, or were they both tanagers or both verm
flycatchers.  it was a red bird with darker wings.  i
don't believe it was a red crossbill.
