Making one of my trips into UT, primarily to add to
my UT list, I report the following sightings from 4/28 in Uintah County. The
below are the more significant species.
Jones Hole area: Greater Sage-Grouse, 40-50- all
males!
Pelican Lake: Common
Loon, 1
Sora, 1 heard
Willet, 1
Franklin's Gull, 30-40
Bonaparte's Gull, 20-30
Ouray
NWR: White-faced Ibis, 40-50
Blue-winged
Teal, 1 pair
Marbled Godwit, 30-40
Long-billed Dowitcher, 25-30
Sanderling, 5
