I went birding with a visitor from Virginia on Friday.
On the way to pick her up, I stopped at the JSM Building in downtown Salt Lake
and saw a Peregrine Falcon sitting in the nesting box.
Best bird at Antelope Island was a Sage Thrasher - first of the
season for me. There was little activity along the causeway - some gulls
and grebes, but no shorebirds.
