Beware of bogus e-mail

Greetings,
I just got a suspicious e-mail from "staff@utahbirds.org"  about using the e-mail account or something like that.  There was a link and a special number all of which is something I don't know anything about.  I don't think it would be wise to click on that link -- I'd just delete the e-mail.
