My recent posting



It seems to at least one "expert" individual that my posting to have a 
verification of my spotted sandpiper was trivial. The exact wording 
was "Were you hoping that someone might tell you that it's a Wandering 
Tattler?" along with a little more added sarcasm.
My initial reason for posting the sighting and asking for verification was 
the possibility that it could be included on the Provo CBC.  I personally 
had no doubt it was a spotted sandpiper and since they aren't normally seen 
this time of year, I also thought it would be nice to post it to both 
birdtalk and birdnet. It's this kind of thing that really turns off 
the "dumber" birders. 
Thanks to those who were nice when responding to my request.
