Hi All!
Refuge staffer, Aaron Johnson, found a male long-tailed duck in the canal
right next to the maintenance shop (beginning of the auto tour route) at
Bear River Refuge, Box Elder County, on Monday, December 1st.
Most of the marshes are frozen, canals and the Bear River remain open.
Certainly different than last year at this time, when we had open water all
over!
