The Fall Utah Ornithological Society Annual Conference will be held
November 7-9 at the University of Utah. The program will begin Friday
evening, Nov. 7 with a special Keynote Address by Frank Howe, Nongame
Avian Coordinator for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.

Saturday will include an interesting mix of presentations from the
status of burrowing owls in the state to birding the Deseret Ranch. We
will also feature the "Birder's Hour". This is an opportunity for
conference attendees to tell a birding tale. Participants can share a
birding-related story, show their prized slides, describe a notable
field sighting, talk about their Utah Life List, or tell about the one
that got-away.

Sunday will feature 2 field trips by local experts - Keith Evans and
Mark Stackhouse.

Mark your calendars and plan on spending a great weekend with people
from across the state that all share a common interest - birds!!!

Early registration is due Oct. 30 so hurry before time runs short!!!

Registration forms can be downloaded from the UOS website.
