Description & Directions:  The Swede Lane Sportsman Access consists of a parking lot with a small boat launching area, and a wildlife viewing tower overlooking the east arm of the lake. Access is from State Road 77, west to Swede Lane, 2750 West, heading north, winding past fields to the parking lot at N 40º 10.397' W 111 43º.313'. 300 yards west of the entrance to the parking lot is a large mud flat that often has numerous shore birds such as American Pelicans, Caspian Terns, Black-necked Stilts and Spotted Sandpipers and many others. The road to the mud flat should not be taken when wet.   ~ Robin Tuck

Update: (May 2020) The viewing tower has been removed and the Swede Lane street sign  has been taken down at the turnoff from SR 77 -- Springville 400 South exit from I-15 going west. (see the picture at the bottom for the landmark for the turnoff -- 2750 West going north from SR77)
