Nests in a deciduous tree or in a shrub at a height of 30-90 (4-90) feet, in a cup nest. This species is a common cowbird host. During the breeding season, this species is an insectivore: upper-canopy gleaner.
Habitat: Breeds in Utah in lowland riparian and mountain riparian habitats.
