characteristic behaviors:
Nests in a deciduous tree or in a shrub at a height of 3-30 (To 50) feet, in a cup nest. This species is not a cowbird host. This species is a carnivore: ground hawker.
Habitat: Breeds in Utah in high desert scrub and pinyon-juniper habitats.
