apparently  no reports of lost / escaped gyrfalcons received by SL.

Successfully rehabilitated by JoAnn Stoddard (puncture wound in chest).  Released to wild at point north of 2200 North and 3200 West in Salt Lake City.  Band no. (USFWS) 877-07534.  Release date: December 12, 1999.  Released by Robert E. Walters, Jr.

Behavior: bird found on silage pit by aids at a dairy in Corinne.  bird attempted to fly but unable to sustain flight -- put in box by aids     bird appeared fine -- cared for by falconer for 3 days -- still unable to fly    taken to rehaber - JoAnn Stoddard
