BEAVER COUNTY

An immature RED-THROATED LOON was seen at Minersville Reservoir on Tuesday afternoon, 11/27 (DS). The best view was from the boat ramp. It was seen again on Wednesday, 11/28, at about 8 am, from the dam (MS,DW,LW). This may be the same bird which was seen
at Quail Creek Reservoir on 11/22 and has not been seen there since the 22nd.

SAN JUAN COUNTY

An apparent BROWN-CAPPED ROSY-FINCH was seen just north of Monticello on Friday, 11/23 (TB). It was feeding with some juncos among old sunflowers along the roadside of Spring Creek Rd., about
0.5 miles west of the Monticello airport. If accepted, this will be the first record of Brown-capped Rosy-Finch in Utah.
A GUNNISON SAGE-GROUSE was seen about 3 miles east of the Monticello Airport on Friday, 11/23 (TB).

WASHINGTON COUNTY

A HORNED GREBE and 15 HOODED MERGANSERS were seen at Quail Creek
Reservoir on Tuesday, 11/27 (DS).
