CACHE COUNTY

Several WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen in the campground at Tony Grove Lake in Logan Canyon over the weekend of 06/10 - 06/11. More White-winged crossbills were seen on the same dates about 1 to 1.5 miles up the Naomi
Peak trail, which starts at Tony Grove Lake (RR).

A THREE-TOED WOODPECKER was seen along the Coldwater Springs Trail, about 1/4 mile from the trailhead at the Tony Grove Lake campground over the weekend of 06/10 - 06/11 (RR).

RICH COUNTY

A breeding-plumage STILT SANDPIPER was seen in a flooded field southeast of Woodruff on Saturday, 06/03 (DW, m.obs.). To get to where the bird was seen, take SR 16 south from Woodruff for about 2 miles until a canal crosses the road. At this point, take the gravel road to the east. The bird was seen about 100 yds. down this road.

Large numbers of LARK BUNTINGS are being seen in several parts of Utah, especially in Rich County. On a Breeding Bird Survey on Deseret Ranch on Wednesday, 06/14, over 40 Lark Buntings were recorded (MS).

WASATCH COUNTY

A 1st-year male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen south of Strawberry Reservoir on Wednesday, 06/07 (MW). The bird was in the willows along the road about 3.7 miles south of the Renegade Boat Ramp. To get there, take
the Strawberry Reservoir turnoff from US 40, and go 14 miles to the boat ramp.

WEBER COUNTY

In a rare record for northern Utah, a BLUE GROSBEAK was seen in the Pleasant View Stake peach orchard in Pleasant View on Saturday, 06/10 (L&PS).
