BOX ELDER COUNTY An adult, alternate-plumage GLAUCOUS GULL was seen at BRMBR on Saturday, 03/04 (MJ). The bird was on the east side of the auto-tour loop, about 500 yds. north of the southeast corner.

A NORTHERN SHRIKE was also seen at BRMBR on Saturday, 03/04, along the east side of the auto-tour loop (MJ).

CACHE COUNTY A SAGE SPARROW was seen along Kuntzler's Lane in Benson on Sunday, 03/05 (BD). To get there, go north on 3200 West from SR 30 (200 North west of Logan) for about 2.75 miles to 2600 North, and turn west. After about 1/2 mile, turn south onto a small, dirt lane (which looks private, but is a county road), and continue until you reach a copse of trees on both sides of the road, where the bird was seen.

SNOW GEESE were also seen on Sunday, 03/05, at the oxbow of the Bear River just north of Benson (BD).

DAVIS COUNTY A female LONG-TAILED DUCK (Oldsquaw) was seen along the AIC on Tuesday, 03/07 (TS). The bird was feeding on the south side of the causeway about 1/2 mile east of the island.

Early Spring songbirds continue to arrive in northern Utah. A SAY'S PHOEBE and two pairs of MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS were seen on Antelope Island on Tuesday, 03/07 (BH).

JUAB COUNTY At Fish Springs NWR, an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW was seen at the feeders at the refuge headquarters on Saturday, 03/04, and a group of SAGE SPARROWS was seen along the road on the west side of the refuge (DG,DS).

MILLARD COUNTY At Gunnison Bend Reservoir west of Delta, many SNOW GEESE, including a few "Blue Geese," were seen, along with a number of ROSS'S GEESE on Friday and Saturday, 03/03 and 03/04. A group of COMMON GRACKLES was also seen near the reservoir (JR,BW).
