I failed to mention the cool birds I did find while I was looking for the brant this past Saturday over by Benson Marina.
I saw 3 Tundra swans out on the marina, a single rough-legged hawk and a beautiful Prairie Falcon sitting on top of a telephone pole just east of the marina.
