Started off the New Year with 2 hours of birding in Salt Lake. I
spent the first little bit above the capital looking for Harris's
Sparrow, to no avail. Along the Jordan River were around 10 Barrow's
Goldeneye, check out the flight comparison to a Common Goldeneye:

The Bald Eagle was also stil sitting in the tree by SR 201 along the river.
I guess now I take over Jack's insanity for 2006!
