The Barrow's goldeneyes are back at 1st dam in Logan.
Sunday afternoon, I watched 9 males, 3 females and a lone common goldeneye female, diving for dinner, the males toppling each other periodically, coming up from the bottom, and bobbing their heads to each other. Really beautiful birds.
