Re: Summary of Veery Responses

  Kris:

Look at the CLO range map
(http://www.birds.cornell.edu/programs/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Veery.html
).

The woods on Deseret Ranch might be a good place to try for a Veery
this month while they are still singing.

Milt Moody's and David Wheeler's excellent summaries of Veery
sightings
included all but two of the replies I received. The remaining
sightings
    were:

2003, Visual, at the spring in the park above Liberty on the way to
Avon; Weber County; forest service property

1998, Audible only, near some ponds on Rock Creek, just above the
Forest
Service boundary (Duchesne County, NW of Mountain Home

Thanks to all who responded. I learned a lot. Now, if I could only

    find one...

    Kris
