Bird Refuge road closed

Hi Everyone:

I thought I should let you all know that the county road allowing public
access to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is closed.  This was NOT a
Bear River Refuge management decision.  We were not even consulted.

A local, private landowner, who was concerned about flooding on his
property, made some contacts.  Under the authority of local officials, a
ditch was cut through the county road to allow flood waters to pass
through.

We don't know how long the road will be closed.  When it is open again,
I'll post another notice.
