Subject: Nesting Great Horned Owls

Message: Dennis Williams and I spotted a pair of Great Horned Owls nesting,
towards the end of River Lane, on April 15th. The nest looks like an old
magpie nest located on the south side of the road, about 1/2 block before
you get to the end of the dirt road. Look carefully because the female is
hard to see on the nest.
We were also interested in the Yellow-rumped Warblers easily seen in the
almost bare trees.
