first bird

Hi everybody from Guam. My first bird of the year was a yellow bittern. I was lucky I even saw one New Year's Day as birds as few and far between on this island because of the tree snake. Cheers and Happy New Year to all. Pat Bean

This morning I was awakened by a northern flicker out our window, but my
husband was a bit slower to get up, so his first bird of the year was an
American crow. This should be a great year for birds!
