Well, I'm going to cheat a bit on this one. Normally I count heard
birds, but for the first bird of the year one I'll take the first one
seen. I heard a Sinaloa Crow this morning while I was still in bed, but
the first bird I saw from the front door of my house was a Magnificent
Frigatebird. Sure beats a starling. Now to go chase those SW Utah birds
on my way home . . .
