Message: We observed a female hairy woodpecker in our yard in Emigration 
Canyon yesterday for about an hour.  We've never seen one here before; 
driven down by the weather?  Also, we have Steller's Jays and Mountain 
Chickadees, which are both regular winter visitors, but usually not til 
Jan-Feb.
