Evening Guided Tour Offered at Bear River Refuge

Evening Full-Moon Photographic Tour of Bird Refuge

The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is offering a guided tour of the
refuge Thursday, July 1, from 6:30 P.M. until moonrise.
Join volunteer naturalist De Ann Lester on an evening tour of the
refuge, featuring nesting birds. The tour will end with sunset and the rise
of the full moon over the mountains and wetlands. Weather permitting, this
time of day affords beautiful photographic opportunities of the valley and
the refuge.
Participants should meet at the Visitor Information Center located on
the south side of Forest Street, one-half mile west of I-15 (exit #366).
Watch for the large, brown refuge sign.
The refuge's 15-passenger van will be available for this tour. Bring
binoculars, water, hats, sunglasses, snacks, sweaters, insect repellent and
photographic equipment. The tour is open to all ages.
