Re: Bald Eagle Sightings?

Matthew:

I counted 168 Bald Eagles at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area (FBWMA), Tuesday, February 3rd while conducting a tour for West Point Jr. High School.  DWR started a rotenone drip last week, killing carp while drawing the water level down in the impoundment's.  This keys the Bald Eagles on FBWMA, along with the loosely allied Ravens, Magpies and Gulls who wait for scraps.

Utah is second only to Alaska now (during the carp feast) for Bald Eagle density in the US.  FBWMA is the best location to see a lot of Bald Eagles at this time.
