Long-tailed Duck

Freeway birding:

We had to go to SLC today and birded on the fly down the freeway. There was a lot of Red-tailed Hawks and Kestrels along the way.

Antelope Island Causeway, on the way home:

Today (Monday) at about noon there was one male and three female Long-tailed Ducks with a large group of goldeneyes at the bridge just before you come to the marina. This is 6.6 miles from the toll booth.

At the visitors center there was fifteen Chukars, two Redwings, and a White Crowned Sparrow at the bird feeder.
