Message: Tonight at 8:00 pm, we saw an adult Semipalmated Plover on the dock shore at Mona Reservoir. It was great when a killdeer came along and started chasing the plover to compare the two. The reservoir is getting really low and is creating some good mud flats. Also seen: 2 Swainsons Hawks, Black Crowned Night Herons in breeding plumage, lots of White Pelicans, Cormorants and Blue Herons and other common shorebirds. We also were treated to fabulous views of a very accomodating Badger!
