Bird Tax . . . Ha Ha Ha

My most insincere apologies to anyone who was overly stressed by my posting of April 1 regarding
the "Bird Tax." Apparently there were quite a few who missed the last line:

I wish I could claim authorship to this little gem, but it came to me from a friend, Je Anne
Branca, of the Red Rock Audubon in Las Vegas. I think the real  author must be the Bernardo Alps
to whom it is attributed, but who knows. I received it fairly late on Tuesday, and since it
wasn't quite midnight, thought it was entirely "legal," to share with you, even though I knew
that most of you wouldn't see it until Wednesday. Especially with the reference to one of our
own "leading" citizens, I just couldn't resist sending it out.

To all of those who took this seriously - GOT YA! You have almost a year to plot your revenge :-)
