Hello all, I went to Lytle today and the wintering Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker is still there at the beginning of the orchard. There was also
good numbers of desert species around,10+ Phainopepla,3 or 4 Black-tailed
Gnatcatcher's,a couple of Cactus Wrens and a few Verdin. There was also a
female Wood Duck a No. Rough-winged Swallow and quite a few Western and
Mountain Bluebirds. Also of note in the Washington fields today there was
a mixed flock of 50+ Snow and Ross's Geese.
                                 Good birding,
                                       Larry Tripp
