While I was teaching Karin Kirchhoff bird photography, I introduced her to the Kennecott Nature Center, Murray/Jordan River Parkway oxbow today, July 6, 2012.

Karin returned my favor by pointing out some movement across the pond.

It was a Green Heron!

She now is the author of some great Green Heron images, likely better than the ones I've attached here!
