I took these pictures in the summer - probably August. I forgot about them until today - there were several of these birds sitting on this irrigation system. I have never figured out what they were - can anyone help me?

On a side note, on Christmas day I had a yard first about 12-15 cedar waxwings in my yard - that is a big deal over here on the west side (Herriman). I was so excited I was jumping up and down. By the time I got my camera with my telephoto lens on they were gone.
