 Directions:  From Bangerter Highway take 6200 South going west.  Turn left at 4800 West (just passed the railroad crossing) and continue to about 6650 South where there is a parking lot on the left.

Description:  The nature preserve consists of a fairly small wild area of grasses, low brush and other native plants.  To the south is a regular park area with restroom facilities, etc., and to the north is a large mowed grass area with some tree along 4800 West street.

Specialty Birds:  This is the best place for Burrowing Owls in Salt Lake County, after May.  ~ Steve Carr
