Description: A series of spring-fed ponds, wooded areas and marshy areas surrounded by camping areas and trails.

Directions: Take exit 234 (Mona) off I-15 and head West. Turn left at first stop sign (Mona main street). Drive 1.7 miles and turn right. This dirt road will go about a mile, cross some railroad tracks, and you'll be at Burraston Ponds.

Birds: Osprey, Warblers, Buntings, Sparrows.

Other: There are roads and trails around many of the ponds. This place is a very nice FREE camping area, so on summer weekends the ponds are always VERY crowded with people and scout groups but can still hold a lot of breeding birds. It is a nice place to check during migration and some of the water will remain ice-free even in cold winters.
