Directions:  Directions:   Take SR 29 going west out of Orangeville.  The reservoir and valley are  about 12 miles away.

Description:  There is good birding habitat all along the road to the reservoir.  The pinyon-junipter adds ponderosa pine and other higher altitude species as you approach the mountain valley.

Nearby:  There's an 18 mile stretch of good graded road (FR 014, Miller's Flat Rd.) that connects to Huntington Canyon Road  between Huntington Reservoir and Cleveland Reservoir
