Background:
Since moving to Midway three years ago, my wife and I seem to have taken a lot more notice of the wildlife especially the birds around. This is to the dismay of many other drivers I'm sure. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't see something in the trees, on the ground, or in the air as we drive along Highway 113 and down Provo Canyon on our way to and from work each day.

Equipment:
Camera equipment I currently use are Canon 30D and Canon 5D Digital SLRs. The lens used most for birds is a 100 mm to 400 mm zoom although I also use a 70 mm to 300 mm or a 24 mm to 105 mm zooms at times if I can get close enough. On some occasions I'll also use a 1.4 x teleconverter with the 100 to 400 zoom (quality suffers though).
