Earth Day at Jordanelle State Park

EARTH DAY IS FOR THE BIRDS AT JORDANELLE STATE PARK

Francis, Utah -- Join Jordanelle State Park naturalists for a spring celebration in honor of Earth Day
Saturday, April 20 at the Rock Cliff Nature Center.

Events begin at 8:30 a.m. with a bird watching hike through the wetlands. From 10 to 11:00 a.m.,
Naturalist, Kathy Donnell will give a live bird presentation with a red-tailed hawk. Visitors are
encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in the park on their own. They may then rejoin naturalists
for a hike from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to learn how mammals, birds, and humans interact.

Visitors may attend any or all of the Earth Day programs. They should also bring binoculars, water,
sturdy hiking shoes, picnic lunch, field guides, and a camera. Day-use fees are $7 per vehicle, with up to
